How To Donate ...

Give2TheTroops® is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit corporation, funded by public donations and staffed by caring, patriotic citizens.

Our Federal Tax-Exempt ID Number (EIN) is: 37-1493066

Donations to Give2TheTroops are tax deductible, however donors should consult their independent tax advisors to appropriately determine and verify all charitable contribution deductions.

Please allow up to 8 weeks for a receipt/acknowledgment of your donation.

Monetary donations given to Give2TheTroops are used to pay for postage to mail the care packages and/or to purchase special items requested by our deployed troops.

Approximately 90% of all monetary donations go to our troops and program services. The majority of our administrative needs are funded by private donors. We're charged a fee to accept online donations, so checks are preferred.

Ways To Donate

1. Credit Card (PAYPAL)
You may make a secure donation using our PayPal link below. Your donation will go directly to purchasing items for the troops and for postage costs to send care packages to the troops. For your records, Give2TheTroops will e-mail you an electronic receipt within 3-4 weeks of receipt.

2. Checks / Money Orders
In lieu of a credit card, you may send us checks and money orders. For your records, Give2TheTroops will mail you a tax receipt within 8 weeks of receipt.

3. Donate Items - We Send Care Packages All Year Long!
If you prefer to give donations such as those listed on our Items Requested page, please contact your closest Give2TheTroops Branch for arrangements. Our branches are listed on the BRANCH LOCATIONS page. We'll happily forward your items & letters to the troops after we inspect them.

For your records, Give2TheTroops will mail you a tax receipt/acknowledgement letter within 8 - 10 weeks of receipt of your items.


5. Other Ways You Can Donate To Us

Send us your used Cell Phones (all types, all models) and empty ink jet cartridges for recycling. The money we receive from recycling companies helps defray our postage costs! Please send them to the Connecticut Corporate Branch.

CC Cash is the easy way to raise money for Give2TheTroops and help the environment. Sign up here to donate your used inkjet & toner cartridges, cell phones, laptops & other electronic items. Shipping and supplies are free! All proceeds go to Give2TheTroops!

Buy and Sell on eBay and 10-100% of auction proceeds are designated to Give2TheTroops, Inc. through their MissionFish program.

Use our Give2TheTroops Careclicks Online Shopping Portal to buy from more than 1000 online merchants. A portion of your online purchases will be donated back to Give2TheTroops, Inc.

Buy any Give2TheTroops logo merchandise and a portion of the sale will be donated to Give2TheTroops for postage.

Choose GoodSearch.com as your internet search engine and select Give2TheTroops as your charity under "Who Do You Goodsearch for?" For each search, Goodsearch will donate a penny to Give2TheTroops.

Many of our branches need office supplies such as:
• Large, sturdy cardboard boxes (18 x 18 x 18)
• Copy paper, printer ink, TZ label maker tape
• U.S. postage stamps, legal-size envelopes
• Large, thick black, trash bags, tal kitchen garbage bags, toilet paper, napkins, & paper towels for clean-up
• Freezer Bags (Zip-loc® or Hefty®, FREEZER type only)
