Sharon Crary started working with G2TT in February 2007 when her son; then a chaplain’s assistant, serving in Iraq, requested a frozen drink machine for their unit. Two years and several frozen drink machines later she became director of the Oregon/Washington Branch. (Sharon managed G2TT's "Operation Icy Treat" ™ - an endeavor which allows hundreds of troops to enjoy a cool icy treat in the hot summer months.)

Sharon has been married for more than 35 years to her wonderful husband, Jon. They have two children. Preston, who served as a chaplain’s assistant with the 82nd Airborne and is planning to attend Oregon State University. Their daughter, Heather, is married; she and her husband, Mike, serve part-time as Jr. High pastors for their church, plus work full-time jobs.

Sharon home-schooled her children though high school. She has taught English and phonics to internationals from China, Nepal, Thailand, France, Germany, Mexico, Peru and Viet Nam. She enjoys reading, costume & makeup design, tennis, genealogy, and people.

Serving with G2TT allows her to give back a little to those who give so much.
