Nancy Johnston, is the daughter of a WWII veteran and the mother of an active duty Army Sergeant, she has been an active volunteer with Give2TheTroops® since 2006. She believes that this is a wonderful way to "Give Back" to those who give their all, protecting our freedom. Whether it be through donating items, sorting items or packing, she feels one gets a great sense of contributing to an organization that is doing an amazing job getting necessary items to our servicemen and women overseas.

At the GTT headquarters, Nancy handles a myriad of volunteer activities such as recording and sorting donations, filing, filling out customs forms and other administrative work in addition to attending packing parties.

Nancy is a Founding Charter member of the first Blue Star Mothers Chapter in Connecticut. She and her husband of 28 years reside in Cromwell, CT. They have 2 great children and one Chocolate Lab "Simon".
