Laurie A. Maxson was born in Iowa, raised in Nebraska (Huskers Rock!) and moved to Dallas in 1980. She held jobs at Chick-Fil-A and later as a Store Manager and trainer at McDonald's. Ironically, she attended Hamburger University (yes, it really exists!) Laurie loves to motivate others and get them involved in improving themselves and their business. Her successful career at McDonalds earned her several corporate awards. Laurie says she loves to talk about her "Mickey D's days."

In 1997, Laurie and her husband, Kelsey (a licensed Texas realtor), opened a condo resort rental agency called A B Sea Sales and Rentals, Inc. Laurie serves as the President.

They have 3 wonderful Shar -Peis, and many nieces and nephews who they spoil rotten.

In her free time, Laurie loves to travel and cruise. She's been to France,Italy, Spain, The Azores, Bermuda, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Puerto Rico, St. Marten, St. Thomas, Antigua, through the Panama Canal, Barbados,Costa Rica . and many places in the United Stated.  She has plans to go to Brazil, Cape Horn, and Argentina, too!

Her other hobbies include reading, selling and buying on eBay, serving on the finance committee at her church, and helping out at the local womens crises center.  She is also a Chamber of Commerce member in her town. 

Laurie feels Give2TheTroops® is a great organization which she loves to be a part of and she is actively spreading the word around town.
