Carola Frantzen lives in Hebron, CT with her husband Michael, son Stephen (who also volunteers at Give2TheTroops®) and a daughter Amanda who has contributed and volunteered at many G2TT packing parties.

Sometime in 2006, Carola was in her car listening to WTIC when she heard Radio Annnouncer, Jim Vicevich interviewing Andi Grant.  Carola had been looking for the right place to volunteer, so she wrote down the web site address and once she got to a computer, checked out the website and signed up her son, Stephen and herself for a packing party. Both Carola and Stephen have each received the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards through their volunteer work and dedication to Give2TheTroops.  Amanda is working on obtaining her award now!

Carola says, "Once you go to a packing party – you are hooked!  You become a 'troop-a-holic'.  These men and women we send the care packages to are our real heroes, what they and their families go through and the sacrifice each family makes is incredible."

Carola bows her head to each and every one of our men and women in the military and says, "Thank you G2TT!"
