Barbara Whitehead is the P.A.M. (Proud Army Mom) of SPC Jason D. Whitehead, a member of the 82nd Airborne. She and her husband are also the parents of a 17-year-old son, Cody and a daughter, Stacy, who is married to a Charter Boat Captain. They are also the grandparents of Stacy’s wonderful son, Hunter.

Barbara has worked in Public Health as a Lactation Consultant for 22 years. She has volunteered with Hearts with Hands, doing disaster relief and also with local education support organizations.

Barbara feels by volunteering with Give2TheTroops® she is able to show her appreciation and support for the military. She became Branch Director in 2005 and continued to lead activities at the North Carolina branch in Greenville.
