2007 Annual Report

Accomplishments for Fiscal Year 2007

More than 10 million letters and cards were included in those care packages and were distributed to HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of our deployed and wounded U.S. troops. We formed a partnership with HALLMARK® and received thousands of blank, musical cards which have been sent to our deployed troops in combat zones and combat hospitals. Additionally, we sent out more than 16 million cards and letters to the troops, thanks to our partnership with Xerox® and many schools throughout the nation.

  2. We gained more than 15,000 donors, volunteers and supporters nationwide and raised more than $1.5M in funds and gifts-in-kind.

  3. We supported wounded troops at Hospitals in the Washington DC area, bringing the wounded gifts and cards of encouragement and helping to maintain a small MWR center for the wounded at Camp LeJeune's and Fort Bragg's Wounded Warriors Clinics.

Objectives for Fiscal Year Beginning
January 1, 2009

  1. To raise more than $1,000,000 - enough to sustain the high postage costs each of our branches incur for shipping care packages. This will enable us to help even more deployed and wounded troops, especially for funding of our programs, including our holiday gift care packages programs.

  2. To gain more storage space for all our GIVE2THETROOPS branches and distribution centers, allowing all Americans to actively participate in supporting our deployed and wounded U.S. troops.

  3. To continue and expand our Holiday Care Packages programs, sending more items to more troops.

PLEASE HELP We need donations to send our care packages. Our funds are low and we have more than 20,000 troops waiting for our help. The packages are ready to ship, we need your financial support to ship them.
