Sheila has been a volunteer for Give2TheTroops since 2005 - shortly before her son deployed to Afghanistan with the Connecticut Army National Guard.  She is a trained counselor in the Governor's Military support program for veterans and their families.  She is active in improving services for veterans on our state colleges and universities. She also knits rectangles in her spare time to make afghans for our wounded soldiers in hospitals around the world.
